About the artist

Alex Stewart

Alex Stewart is a Fraser Valley-based environmental artist, muralist, and climber whose work explores the intersection of creativity, movement, and the natural world.

Alex has built a career blending stencil art, large-scale murals, and a deep commitment to environmental advocacy — all informed by his lifelong connection to landscapes, from coastal forests to vertical rock faces.

Stewart’s art reflects his reverence for nature, often depicting ethereal figures in harmony with their surroundings. His murals — featured in events like the Vancouver Mural Festival and Burnaby Blooms Festival — transform spaces with narratives of ecological interconnectedness.
